Customers can either select a predefined beverage or specify which bases and syrups they would like to mix.

Starbucks artisan chefs

All retail locations will need to rely on prepackaged food items and freshly pressed juices to supplement their menus.

These items will need to be prepared by a centralized team of artisan chefs who follow a consistent set of recipes as defined by the Starbucks team members.

The items produced by these teams will be exclusively branded with the Starbucks label, though the products may be sold in bulk to third party retail companies.
